Kuching Homemade Since 2011
My Baking World has come a long way since 2011 in the humble "Cat Town"— Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia.
Being inspired by beautiful cakes from a TV show, our home baker, Valarie, resolutely started her baking journey right after graduating from secondary school. She completed her baking certificate from a local institute & has been passionately immersed in baking since 2010.
Driven by a desire to create contemporary and premium quality desserts, her passion led her to extensive research and countless experiments along the way.
Through years of experience, trials, and errors, we have refined our recipes— each one a unique secret recipe baked with heart and patience.
After a two years hiatus, Valarie had the opportunity to work as a pastry assistant at a cake shop in New Zealand. This year, she’s back to town, bringing nostalgic flavors to our customers— especially our signature New York Cheesecake, alongside others artfully crafted cakes and desserts.
At My Baking World, we prioritize quality over quantity. Every order is made with time, care, and passion to ensure it aligns perfectly to customer’s requirements.

My Baking World has come a long way since 2011 year in the humble “cat town” Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia.
Being attracted by beautiful cakes from a tv show, our homebaker resolutely started her baking journey after graduated from secondary school. She finish her baking certificate from a local baking institute & head down in baking since 2010.
With a desire to offer contemporary & premium quality desserts, the passion in baking drove our baker to do lots of research & survey along the baking journey.
Over the years, with the experiences, trials & errors in baking, we had improved our recipe therefore all the products are our secret recipe which are baked with heart & patience.
